This festival is for artists by artists. All done voluntarily, each and everyone throwing in their support to make it as successful as it can be. 

It was my part to design the poster and tickets.

There was a massive amount of copy to fit on this poster so enabled me to keep the art part of the poster rather small but striking enough to significantly represent 'artists'. The background is actually a photograph of my ceiling with an odd box which holds wires I assume...I just loved the geometric lines and shadows it created! The copy would obviously be president so I thought it would be a nice touch to play another Dali approach and have the art piece upside down. It doesn't grab attention from the copy but adequately enhances the look and feel of the poster.
